Chromatics of Portland, Oregon just released their new album Kill for Love on Tuesday. On first listen its pretty awesome. The group consists of singer Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller on guitar and Nat Walker on drums. The producer Johnny Jewel (also in bands Glass Candy and Desire a side project we he and Walker) just posted the entire album in one continuous mix on his Soundcloud spot for everyone to enjoy. Check it out.

And even though its old I can still listen to this track for days...

Fresh off his recent gigs in LA, New Orleans, and Miami - Astronomar released his new EP "Ya'll Know" off Top Billin Music. My personal favorites are: "Wanna Do What" and "Playhouse". This is some clubbbb music!

You can check out his other releases out on Mad Decent and Discobelle as well.

I cannot stop listening to this song! The combination of Jessie Ware's soulful vocals plus Disclosure's style of UK Garage/bass makes this a perfect dancefloor hit. They are one of my favorite producers out right now!

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great Friday. Our first selection is a new track from Hot Chip who need no introduction. Their new album In Their Heads is due out June 11th. Not sure what I think about this initial track. It doesn't build quite as fast as I would hope and doesn't have their typical polish. Really looking forward to the new record.

The second track is a great disco remix by Vancouver's Mark Penner aka Cyclist of Change's track "A Lover's Holiday." His originals are just as awesome as his remixes. Check out this original.

Saving the best for last we have an awesome remix by the Magician. Great work on Sebastien Tellier's track "Cochon Ville." Its a can't miss. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Vancouver-based producer Laberge always comes through with the very best, so it doesn't exactly come as a surprise that his latest effort is super fantastic. Extended Vacation, a mini album project he's releasing today on Bandcamp, feels just about perfect now that the sun is breaking through the perma-gray here in Seattle. You can pick it up from Laberge's bandcamp page here..

It's been a while since we've posted some disco here on Analog Giant, but ti's time to right that wrong. Consider this glittered-encrusted disco battlestation fully operational. First is this a freshly baked re-edit from the aptly named Londoner Debonair. Faaaaaantastic.

There's also this slow-simmering crock-pot disco jam from Toomy Disco & Fernando...

Isn't life better with a little disco?

I previously posted my favorite track off of Seattle producers, Suttikeeree & WD4D's After School EP, called "Satisfaction" a couple months ago - but now you can take a listen to the full EP filled with "sticky dance floor thumpers, funky future rhythms and straight-up West Coast hip hop. Hooked through with chopped-up vocal samples and heavy bottomed bass...fresh and chunky beats". They recently played the world famous Low End Theory party in LA in celebration of this release too!

First things first great track from Nas. Hip hop legend etc. etc. I am sure you have already heard it but if you haven't check it out.

Next track is from our favorite Parisian, Dimitri from Paris with his remix of Holy Ghost!'s track "It's Not Over." Really nicely crafted remix. Looking forward to the extended version.

Final track is from one of our favorite dudes T-E-E-D. Sadly another preview but this remix of his track "Tapes and Money" by Casino Times (a duo from Oxford). Really nice work. Have a great weekend all. Peace!

Really like the flow of this newly released track from Italian producer/DJ Broke One. So very smooooth, and I can never get enough of that vintage house bounce. If he keeps throwing down tracks like this, he's all but assured to never be broke.

Great new track from SF's downbeat cosmic producer Sorcerer. Loving the song title as well. "Deeply Creepy" showcases what Sorcerer does best check it out. Great remix by Brothertiger of Teendaze's track "Brooklyn Sunburn." Excellent work that makes you think of warm summer days (even though its still freezing here in Chicago).

The final track is from the Danish duo DATO. David Kosteljanetz and Thomas Erichsen put together this great disco track. Hadn't heard any of their stuff until today and I am really impressed by this track. Very good. Check it out.

Ahhh, such a busy week, but there's no better way to plow through a pile of work than some new mixes. And nobody can melt away the work hours like these guys. Brand new mixes from the funky Swede Chris Jylkke, disco-fabulous Frenchman Zimmer, and the devastating duo of J Paul Getto.

Germany's musical meistro has been busy the last couple days uploading a ton of fantastic originals and remixes of his to his Soundcloud spot. Some of Analog Giant's favorites get the remix treatment Holy Ghost!, Air and Booka Shade. My favorite is the remix of Air's "Mer de Japon." Love the original and loving this remix as well. Thanks for sharing Mr. Menace.

Here's a freshly tapped (and still warm) remix from the undeniably awesome Fake Blood. This time the Gorey One puts his touch on Sway's "Level Up".Four on the floor...post-apocalyptic bass...killer-catchy hook...yep, it's Fake Blood alright.

First off nice remix of perhaps the most overly remixed track this year Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" but the work that Netherlands own Joris Voon did on this track is really nice. I think it stands out above the rest. The next is a great track from the 21-year old upstart Willy Moon. His track "Yeah Yeah" is simply awesome. Check it out if you have not had the chance to hear it yet. Last but certainly not least is an out of this world remix by Magician of Sam Sparro's track "Happiness." The Magician always does great work but this one is exceptional. Don't miss it. Have a great weekend everyone. Peace!
